Katie Morgan has been painting since 1997 and lives with her husband in Montana.

The artist is primarily self taught. She picked up the hobby when she went looking for a painting to buy for a Christmas gift for her husband and couldn't find one she liked. She painted one instead. Living in Montana, near Glacier National Park, has provided her all the scenery and wildlife she could want for her paintings.
